The Living Museum is an innovative curriculum whose goal is to help students form a personal connection to Jewish history through the study of family artifacts. As opposed to learning from texts, with the Living Museum, students learn to study  artifacts and to ask questions. In researching the history of an artifact, students interview parents and grandparents, thus learning across the generations. With the online Living Museum, students upload images and descriptions of artifacts to a Living Museum exhibition website for their class, thereby making their Living Museum available to the general public.

If you would like to register and participate in the Living Museum, please email Paul Radensky, Museum Educator for Jewish Schools or call (646) 437-4310.
