BACK TO THE PAST...ON TO THE FUTURE

The seventh grade students at Hillel Yeshiva have gone back to the past to learn about their families' journeys to America, their ancestors' lives in Europe, Asia or Africa, and the Jewish lives they established for themselves once they arrived in the United States. To prepare for this online exhibition the students went "BACK TO THE PAST" as researched their family's Jewish roots, learning more about their family's stories. They each brought in an artifact and learned about the importance of it to their families. They discovered that their individual family stories are part of the larger Jewish story, the history and "THE FUTURE" of our people.
