The seventh grade students at Hillel Yeshiva learned about their families' journeys to America, their ancestors' lives in Europe, Asia or Africa, and the Jewish lives they established for themselves once they arrived in the United States. The students were able to gain a deeper appreciation for the challenges and triumphs of generations past. The artifacts and heirlooms from their ancestors represent various stages in the Jewish journeys of our ancestors. |
