Hillel Yeshiva's Seventh Grade students proudly presents our annual Jewish Heritage Fair. This year it is called "Snapshots of the Past." Students learned procedures for identifying, describing, researching, categorizing and displaying artifacts. They applied what they learned to their own families' treasured artifacts, and the results are what you see here in this online exhibition. This exhibition provides more than a snapshot of the history and lives of the families of the 7th grade students. Each "snapshot" tells an interesting story about something precious in the lives of grandparents or great grandparents. By putting this catalog online we will preserve and continue to enjoy the stories and photographs of our community's heirlooms.
