Congregation Beth Emek, the "House of the Valley," is the center of the Jewish
community in the Tri-Valley area of the San Francisco Bay Area, serving Pleasanton, Livermore, Dublin, San
Ramon, and Tracy. At Beth Emek, Jews meet to study and learn, to
celebrate the cycle of the year, and to rejoice in the Sabbath. The Middle School class
represents more than 40 of the over 200 Jewish families in the congregation. This
exhibition is a snapshot of the history of the families of the 6th and
7th grade students during 2007-2008.
