These artifacts represent the joys of celebrating holidays with our family.  While they are all also ritual items, they stand for more than just the daily or weekly Jewish rituals which we perform, for they are special rituals that only come around once a year.  These artifacts have been passed down not only to be reflected upon as items of nostalgia, but also as tools for the family to use in their future observance and construction of their own holiday rituals and traditions.
