December 14, 2014
On October 19, 2014, Kitah Vov took its annual trip to the Museum of Jewish Heritage in Battery Park, New York City. In class the students learned about how their family’s history told each of them different stories about the changes from the past to the present. Together with their families, the students selected an artifact to showcase in our museum. Then each student presented their artifact to the class telling about its history and significance to their family. Based on their research they then prepared a museum postcard. The entire class then selected a name for their museum and created meaningful galleries for their own Heritage Museum. Lastly, they created their own museum for the whole religious school and congregation to enjoy on Sunday, December 14, 2014.
