Kiddush Cup

Helen Schwartz Miller
The small blue glass Kiddush cup was loaned to me by my grandma. It was her grandma’s Pesach Kiddush cup. She remembers her grandfather sitting on a pillow at the seder. He led the songs with his finger.
It represents Passover to our family and now I get to use it.

The Kiddush cup was give to my great-great-grandfather by the synagogue that he attended.
The gift of the Kiddush cup shows that my great-great-grandfather was a very good man.
Kiddush Cup

Gerald Birnbaum
The tinted glass Kiddush cup was loaned to me by my Poppy (grandfather) who was given it by his grandparents who emigrated from Russia in the 19th century to start a new life.
They kept Jewish traditions going with this cup using it for really special holidays they shared with family and friends. It reminds us of family from the old country.
