This brass charger plate has been in my family for over three generations. It was used as a Passover decoration in my grandparents\' home.
On the plate, there is a picture of the Jewish people leaving Egypt and there is a passage from the Torah talking about the Exodus and entering Israel.
Chanukiyah
Israel
This brass Chanukiyah (Chanukah Menorah) was given to my family in 1968 by the Israeli Ambassador to Colombia, South America. It is special to our family because it uses oil, not wax, candles.
It was presented to my family following the victory of the Six Day War in 1967. Lighting a Chanukiyah is a ritual Jews everywhere do for 8 days to celebrate the holiday of Chanukah.
