My mom bought this tzedakah box for my family. It is a replica of a synagogue in Florence, Italy. It reminded her of her trip to Italy where she saw this synagogue.

G-d. It is required that the Jewish people give money to help poor people.
Rachels Needlepoint Blessing

This framed needlepoint blessing was my great grandmother Gertrude\'s. She made it in Atlanta, Georgia in 1979.It is made entirely out of thread. My great grandmother gave it to my dad for his bar-mitzvah. This artifact is special to my family because it hangs in my room and reminds me and my family of my great grandmother\'s talents.
This passage is from the Torah.It is special because the Torah is the most important book to the Jewish people.

My Great Great Grandmother passed this down to her daughter Lilly my grandmother\'s mother. My Great grandmother sent her sister to college and she gave her the work fork which was later passed down to my grandmother then my mom.This fork was used for many holidays for many generations.I hope that one day it will be passed down to me.
